A green that changes with the light.

The smoked green of the Stagg EKG Pro is not a stark color. It leans towards grey under northern light, warms up at the end of the day, and the light maple of the handle brightens it further. It's a green that invites observation rather than imposing itself, and arguably the most nuanced finish in the range.

The high-resolution color screen acts as a dashboard. Set temperature, actual temperature, timer: the information is hierarchized, readable from an angle, with no menus to navigate. You set the temperature to the nearest degree between 40 and 100 °C and you don't have to touch it again.

Wi-Fi connectivity distinguishes this generation from the previous one. Fellow releases software updates that the kettle downloads itself: functions added after your purchase reach you without any action on your part. Equipment whose behavior can still evolve in two years is not common on a countertop.

Then there's the 0.9 L reservoir. This volume is not chosen at random: it covers a complete cycle of pouring, filter rinsing, pre-infusion, successive pours, without excess water that would cool between uses. The kettle is calibrated for the gentle method, not for boiling water continuously.
