Water in the right place, with every extraction

On most machines, the original mesh shower screen only covers about 54 mm in diameter. This leaves 4 to 5 mm around the edge of the puck less saturated, meaning 10 to 15% of the coffee bed receives significantly less water than the center. This is one of the causes of uneven brewing, channeling along the basket wall, and extractions that are difficult to dial in.

The Pesado HD shower screen addresses this issue directly. Rather than using mesh with an unpredictable water path, it uses 18 precision-machined channels that direct water in the same pattern for every extraction, all the way to the edge of the puck. The result is complete and repeatable diffusion, for more consistent extractions from one shot to the next.
