Single boiler: espresso is prepared, then switched to steam mode to texture the milk.

First Start-up

1. Install the included water softener filter (35 L) and fill the tank.
2. Turn on the machine using the switch: the Lelit logo will appear, and the indicator lights will briefly illuminate. On the very first start-up, the machine automatically fills the boiler: water will flow from the group head for about 40 seconds, with the Lelit logo flashing.
3. The LCC screen displays the boiler temperature as it rises. The machine is ready when "OK" is displayed.

Preparing an Espresso

1. Insert the chosen filter into the preheated portafilter and dose the coffee (guidelines: 9-11 g for a single-dose filter, 14-18 g for a double-dose filter).
2. Tamp, clean the filter rim, then lock the portafilter onto the group head.
3. Place the cup(s), activate the lever to start extraction; the pressure gauge needle should be in the green zone. Return the lever to stop.

Steam and Hot Water

• Single Boiler: After espresso, switch to steam mode and wait for the boiler to reach temperature.
• Purge the nozzle for approximately 2 seconds to release condensation, froth the milk, then close and return to coffee mode.
• The multi-directional nozzle also dispenses hot water.

Maintenance

• Weekly: clean surfaces with a damp microfibre cloth; carefully clean the steam wand and portafilter after each use.
• Backflushing with the blind filter and powder detergent (enabled by the 3-way solenoid valve).
