Single boiler: Espresso is brewed, then the machine switches to steam mode to texture the milk.

First Start-up

1. Fill the tank and pour the beans into the hopper.
2. Turn on the machine: the PID displays the rising temperature. Allow approximately 3 minutes for the first espresso, and about fifteen minutes for the group head and brass portafilter to reach their optimal temperature.
3. Run some water through the group head to fill and rinse the circuit before the first extraction.

Preparing an Espresso

1. Place the portafilter under the grinder outlet and grind on demand directly into the filter (or use pre-ground coffee / an ESE pod).
2. Tamp with the integrated tamper, clean the edge of the filter, then firmly lock the portafilter onto the group head.
3. Place the cup(s), activate the lever to start extraction; the pressure gauge needle should be in the green zone. Return the lever to stop.

Steam and Hot Water

• Single-boiler: after the espresso, switch to steam mode and wait for the boiler to heat up.
• Purge the nozzle for about 2 seconds to release condensation, froth the milk, then close and return to coffee mode.
• The multidirectional nozzle also dispenses hot water.

• Weekly: clean surfaces with a damp microfiber cloth; thoroughly clean the steam nozzle and portafilter after each use; empty the spent coffee grounds tray.
