Roaster recipes and custom profiles

First Use

1. Fill the removable reservoir with water that is neither too hard nor demineralized (Fellow provides hardness guidelines), and replace it.
2. Choose the basket according to the volume (cone for one cup, flat bottom for a batch), insert the appropriate paper filter, and add the ground coffee.
3. For the first use, run a cycle to rinse the circuit and filter.

Making Coffee

1. Select a profile on the screen: preset by roast level, roaster's recipe, or custom profile, or start Instant Brew mode with one press.
2. Start brewing: the color screen guides each step (bloom, pulses, end of extraction).
3. For cold brew, select the cold brew profile: ready in 90 minutes.

Programming

• From the machine or the app, program a brew in advance and manage your profiles.

Maintenance

• Regularly clean the reservoir, carafe, and basket; the drip-stop basket limits spills. No heating plate to maintain.
• Descaling: the Aiden includes reminders. In hard water areas, descale every 3-4 weeks; in soft or filtered water areas, wait for the reminder. Start the rinse cycle in the maintenance menu and use an appropriate liquid descaler.
